Venezuela free of Nicolás Maduro

In recent years, Venezuelans have been victims of a harsh and lamentable reality: a humanitarian, social, and economic crisis that has one sole and primary cause, the regime led by Nicolás Maduro. For a long time, attempts have been made to argue that the crisis has been motivated by external sanctions and economic wars; the reality and the truth are that it is a dictatorship that has hijacked institutions, dismantled the rule of law, and turned the nation into a sea of poverty and hopelessness. A change is more than a moral imperative; it is the only way to guarantee that our country rises again and can be rebuilt, constructing a future of abundance and prosperity for the following generations.

The government of Nicolás Maduro is the main obstacle to a prosperous Venezuela, given that it is the principal architect of excessive repression and social control against the population. Venezuelans have witnessed the systematic brutality of a cruel dictatorship, where dissenting voices are silenced with violence, torture is used as a political tool, and the justice system acts as an enforcement arm of power. This constant fear has fractured the social fabric and forced millions to choose between silence and exile.

Furthermore, the regime has destroyed the nation's economic system, which has resulted in the annihilation of opportunities for younger generations who dream of entrepreneurship and building a better country. A country with natural resources like Venezuela has gone from being one of the richest countries in the region to being the poorest; the dictatorship only offers young people wages of misery, degraded universities, and the sole perspective of seeking some way to emigrate and pursue a better future abroad. Maduro's dictatorship not only impoverished the present but robbed an entire generation of its future.

Clearly, Venezuelans do not want to remain condemned to eternal misery because of a regime; we want to tirelessly pursue the dream of a new country, in which, free from the yoke of the dictatorship, we work on a reconstruction plan based on our strengths and alliances. The country must heal many of the wounds that 27 years of "Chavismo" have left us. The fall of the Maduro regime is the key that will unlock repressed potential and awaken a generation of young people to build a new country of opportunities and abundance.

It is a fact that millions of Venezuelan professionals, engineers, doctors, and entrepreneurs who were forced to leave the country will return to reunite with their families, and they will not return empty-handed, but with invaluable human capital: knowledge, experience, new ideas, discipline, and an immense thirst to rebuild Venezuela.

Venezuela possesses the largest proven oil reserves in the world, in addition to vast resources in gas, gold, iron, and other strategic minerals. Under a democratic, transparent government with legal certainty, these resources will become the main engine to diversify the economy, attract massive investments, and generate millions of quality jobs. With the recovery of democracy, Venezuela will not only stabilize but is destined to be one of the most prosperous countries in the world within a generation.

It is our responsibility, as young people, to raise our voices and fight for a Venezuela without Nicolás Maduro. A change of government is the only viable path to ensure that the next generation of Venezuelans grows up in a free homeland, with functional hospitals, schools of excellence, and a horizon of opportunities. Venezuela has all the resources; it only needs to recover its freedom to become the powerhouse it was always meant to be.
